Be Brave with Us
The seams are torn, the fabric frayed
Some cling to love, some push it away.
Some just pretend it's not happening
But the bell's broken, it does not ring.
So here we stand hoping you can see,
Hands together-our humanity.
Be Brave with us so you can see
the true meaning of being free.
Be Brave with us it's the right thing to do.
Be Brave with us we'll stand with you.
They want you hopeless. They want you alone.
They want you to hide inside of your home.
But they fear the truth with all their noise.
That we could join with one big voice.
Be Brave with us so you can see
the true meaning of our liberty.
Be brave with us. It’s the right thing to do.
Be brave with us. We’ll stand with you.
They march in lines and thump their chests.
They eat their lies and spit the rest.
They say we’re woke while we go broke
and the billionaires play their sad joke.
We watch in horror. We watch in shame.
We watch this evil play its morbid game.
But the day will come when we will sing
and that cracked bell will once more ring
Be brave with us. We’ll see this through.
Be brave with us. It’s the right thing to do.
Be brave with us. We’ll stand with you.
Be brave with us. Yes, we’ll stand with you.

Call Your Reps about the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza
Background
Update:
July 21, 2025: After multiple deadly shootings in Gaza where Israeli troops opened fired on Palestinians trying to reach U.N. aid convoys, 25 countries, including Britain and Canada, have issued a statement condemning Israel for their “drip feeding of aid and the inhumane killing of civilians.”
Despite a tentative ceasefire proposal initiated in January of 2025, the devastating war and humanitarian crisis continues in Gaza. On March 18th, the Israeli government launched surprise attacks that killed hundreds of Palestinians and multiple United Nations workers, and renewed aggressive ground operations to occupy more land. Additionally, on March 31st, Israeli troops executed 15 Palestinian medics who were clearly identified as such, buried them in a mass grave along with their ambulances, then plowed it over with military bulldozers. Israeli officials have made it clear that their primary goal is the occupation of the Gaza Strip, not the return of the hostages.
The United Nations has also sounded the alarm about Israel’s blockade of humanitarian goods and supplies into Gaza, warning that the population is now on the brink of famine. The foreign ministers of Germany, France, and the UK released a statement demanding that Israel adhere to international law and allow passage of aid to go unhindered. The Trump administration, however, has continued to support the Israeli government with offensive weapons and military equipment and has floated the idea of expelling all Palestinians from Gaza to develop the land under US ownership.
The United States cannot continue to fund and supply the Israeli government with weapons while it continues its atrocious attacks on Gaza, blocks humanitarian aid, and violates international law. Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRDs) to block the sale of offensive U.S. weaponry to Israel have been introduced in the House. Demand your members of Congress support this necessary restriction and pressure the Trump administration to work towards a fair and durable ceasefire deal that protects the people of Gaza.
Script:

Call Your Reps...Texas Gerrymandering, Emil Bove, Congressional "Shut Down"
Call Your Senator
Hi, I'm a constituent calling from [zip]. My name is ______.
First, I understand that a final vote on Emil Bove could be coming as soon as Monday. I expect the Senator to do everything in his/her power to ensure that this unfit, corrupt man doesn’t get anywhere near a lifetime appointment on our federal courts. Vote no.
Also, I’m angry that Texas is holding a special legislative session to try to redraw the legislative maps in their favor. Instead of focusing on responding to devastating floods in central Texas, Governor Greg Abbott is trying to rig Texas’ maps to push Democrats out of office and preserve Republicans’ majority. It’s repugnant and anti-democratic. I want the Senator to make a statement denouncing it. And I support Democrats in “going nuclear” to counteract this threat in any way they can. Take the gloves off. Thanks.

Call Your Congressperson
Hi, I'm a constituent calling from [zip]. My name is _______.
I’m furious that Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republicans have shut down the work of Congress to protect Trump from accountability over the Epstein files. They are abandoning their constitutional responsibilities in order to serve Trump’s personal interests. Americans demand the truth. We will settle for no less.
[If GOP add:] And we will never forget the Republicans who blocked the release of these files.

Call Your Reps...Resist the Escalation of ICE Raids and Detentions
BACKGROUND (5calls..org)
July 21, 2025: Trump officials are now rushing to build more ICE tent camps, like the one in Florida with abhorrent conditions, in more cities and states. They have been actively lobbying Republican state and local leaders to assist.
With the passage of H.R. 1, Republicans in the House and Senate have handed Donald Trump and notorious xenophobe Stephen Miller $171 billion to supercharge their mass deportation operations, including $45 billion for detention centers and $30 billion for new ICE officers and transportation.ICE’s funding now exceeds the total immigration enforcement budgets of the Obama, Biden, and first Trump administrations combined. Many budget reconciliation provisions do not go into effect until 2026 or later, but ICE’s funding increase is immediate. This means:
More ICE raids in cities nationwide, with ICE agents terrorizing residents with masked abductions and violent assaults and ICE impersonators further fueling chaos and fear.
More despicably inhumane concentration camps like the facility grossly dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” built on top of a Florida Everglades swamp.
More economic damage as farmworkers, caregivers, and other essential workers go into hiding and communities avoid public spaces out of fear.
Despite this unprecedented level of funding for ICE, the agency relies on local law enforcement for assistance. The bill includes $14 billion for local law enforcement departments to incentivize such partnerships. Both Congress and state governments must oppose the Trump administration’s push towards an authoritarian police state and protect its communities from this terrifying assault.
SCRIPT (5calls.org)
I’m calling to urge (Senator/Congressperson) to oppose the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrants and conduct public oversight investigations into the conduct of ICE agents and conditions of detention facilities. ICE raids are terrorizing communities across the country, violating due process rights, and subjecting innocent people to extremely inhumane treatment. I expect the (Senator/Congressperson) to hold this administration accountable for their authoritarian tactics.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
